Charred Copper

How is it I just now discovered this brand? Ordered 2 pair and they are super cute and soooo comfortable on my feet. I am hooked.

They are very comfortable. I prefer roomy toe boxes and a low drop. Brown is one of my favorite colors.

This is my third pair and I love the colors! So comfortable and classic.

I ordered a 10 1/2 & returned them for a 10 - waiting for them to arrive.

The shoes were very comfortable when I put them on. Fit seemed good. By the end of the day, my feet were killing me. I walked some but I was mainly sitting. Very disappointed because I like the look!

I wear size 5 shoes and always have trouble finding shoes to fit. Apropos fit perfectly and I love the copper/black color scheme.

I chose these shoes because I thought they were cute and I also have to deal with bunions. The first size that I ordered did not fit perfectly, they were a little bit tight. I contacted the company and they quickly made a new pair for me and shipped them out, and they made sure that they fit perfectly before I returned the original pair. Customer service was great, highly recommend!

There was a minor problem. I contacted them and got a response in a few hours. They processed with me, seems I had an unusual foot. A new perfect pair was sent out quickly. They fit perfectly and travel well. I bought the brown and black version which look great with my wardrobe.

I bought the shoes for my daughter and they looked good and well constructed but unfortunately are too big. I emailed help about returning and possibly replacing them but didn't receive a reply back yet. I guess I just mail them back, paying for shipping myself?

These shoes look much nicer in person than pictures can show. These are my third pair of shoes from Apropos. I also own the Sabai and Parchment. The quality of these shoes is amazing and their customer service is great especially if you have issues with your feet. Bought these online which is something I never do with shoes, but they really called to me. As it turned out, they were a bit too big. After contacting the fabulous customer service department and discussing the sizing situation, I was told I would be receiving a new pair, made to my specifications, and to send back the first pair. Before I got to send them back, a friend came over, saw them sitting on a table, and 'oohed' and 'ahhed'. Knowing our feet are about the same size, I told her to try them on. They looked beautiful, fit her perfectly and felt extremely comfortable - perfect, she said, for her upcoming trip to France. I was thrilled to gift them to her and share the comfort and beauty of these fabulous shoes! Don't know which made me happier: my new pair, sharing with a friend, or making the acquaintance of Jim, the best customer service rep I've ever dealt with! Serindipity all around!

Per mfr recommendation, ordered a half size smaller to accommodate narrow heels. Still flopped off immediately while walking normally. Just not the right shoes for very narrow feet!

It took over a month for my order to arrive, but I am very happy to say, "the shoes were worth the wait!" Quality size 12s are hard for me to find, and most new shoes require at least a few days of wear before my feet get used to them. Not my apropos pair. They fit like a glove from the first time I put them on. They fit right from my hammer toes to the back of my heel. I love that they're comfortable but are appropriate for casual wear to Sunday dress. I plan to add more apropos shoes to my collection.

I Needed some “altering/repairs done to my shoes and they were fixed and returned to me in short order.

Would not stay on a very narrow heel.

I have narrow feet so I worried if they would stay on, and they do so that is very good! They are moderately comfortable but not as good as I hoped for. I need a dressy shoe to wear when working all-day tradeshows and corporate events. These will not work for that but I will wear them for shorter, less physical work days.

Beautiful neutral shoe to wear with anything

Well, I actually thought they were adorable but they were way too wide for my feet. I ordered because I asked a question about narrow feet and one of the reviewers said that they DID fit narrow feet. They don't. In fact they didn't even touch my feet even though the length was correct. It broke my heart - so cute and I already had the event to wear them to. Can you make some for us needle-feet folks?

I really like these shoes! I love how they go with all of my winter/fall clothes and how flat they pack for travel. They are just really easy shoes to wear. I have even successfully washed them without any trouble. Originally, the shoes came up too high and slipped a little in the heel, but the company was so great. They reached out to me after I mentioned it in a review & made adjustments to the fit, sending me a new pair of shoes that fit just right. If you have a foot that is at all tricky to fit, you should check out the customization features offered on the website (I didn't know about them when I originally bought the shoes), but experienced how quick and helpful they were when they adapted the shoes to fit my feet. Very happy with these shoes & look forward to, maybe getting a good pair for my summer colors! :)

These are the most comfortable flats! I love the texture and print of the fabric, and that it gives my feet good support. The only downside: I wore them walking around for several hours outside, and the inside fabric aggravated the tops of my feet a bit from rubbing against them. Hoping that goes away once they're broken in, so I can wear them for long periods of time without socks or tights. Overall well worth the purchase.

Ordered the size seven. Too small. Returned them and asked for a 7.5 wide. Clear instructions and great response from customer service. The new shoes are so comfortable and no break in needed. I have gotten so many compliments.

I ordered my usual size in these lovely copper-colored shoes, but they were too small. I talked to Cathy at the company who was extremely responsive and was able to get a pair half a size big that arrives a couple fo days ago. The shoes are very comfortable, beautiful, and unusual. They work with both skirts and pants. I am, with great anticipation, looking over my pattern choices for second pair.

I am really pleased with the shoe. The Charred Copper color is really versatile and gives the shoe a touch of elegance. The customer service was beyond wonderful, since I have all sorts of foot problems that they had to take into account (obviously, this is not their first rodeo with problematic feet--these people are both professional and gracious), and they did so very graciously. Because my feet are wide, arthritic, and buniony, I sized up a half-size, and it does feel a tiny bit large, or, perhaps, a bit less supportive than it would otherwise be. I have wondered if going back down the half-size would help. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying the shoes anyway, and am looking forward to getting another pair.

I was a little reluctant to purchase without trying on, but decided to risk it. I'm so glad I did. The shoes came very quickly and look exactly like the pictures. The fit was really good. I decided to go up 1/2 size for a bunion and so far, so good. I wore very thin peds and it couldn't have been better. I will be getting another pair soon.

Beautiful shoe and comfortable— I’m probably between an 8 which I ordered and a 7 1/2 as I have fairly narrow feet. One shoe was a bit big in the heel but inserts remedied that.

Love them! Straight out of the box…no break in period! One of the many pairs that I have. I wear them all 4 seasons. Very comfortable with my bunions.

I had a bit of a fitting problem and they were very willing to work with me to resolve it. I bought them mainly to wear in the house and something nicer looking to carry with me during sloppy weather when visiting friends homes.

Over a half dozen pairs now and still most pleased. I wear them daily and therefore do wear them out. My charred copper fit and color were winners.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and they last forever. I bought my first pair over 20 years ago and am still wearing them. Definitely worth every penny.

Gorgeous copper luster!!

I've branched out with Apropos! The blue, tan and black are staples in my wardrobe. Now I'm pleased to say I tried the charred copper. I wore them for the first time today. Soooooooo comfortable, and supporting, I never had to worry about breaking them in. I may soon have a whole closet full of these wonderful shoes! I wish you made boots, or "winter" shoes!

It's very difficult for me to find a comfortable shoe because of my arthritic feet. I simply couldn't travel, as I often do, without my apropos shoes. I'm leaving for two months in Paris, and thrilled to be bringing two new pairs with me.
